Day 9 TO 12 - DISNEY WORLD
My Wife Wanted To Go To Disney World
So We Compromised . . .
. . . And Went To Disney World
If this is what comes up in your mind when your hear Disney
. . .
Well, I beg to differ!
Greetings from the First Order!
Before jumping straight to Star Wars, let's unfold this journey slowly!
There are 4 theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studio, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom.
My wife decided that we should start with the most magical one, Disney Kingdom, followed by Hollywood Studio, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom.
Being a newlyweds at that time, my wife and I begin our journey Disney World journey by getting Husband and Wife style MagicBands!
The MagicBands were printed using a 3D printer.

The friendly staff who printed our MagicBands.
As we wait for the MagicBands to be printed, one of the staff kindly talk to us and found out that we were newlyweds. To our surprise, she gave us badges with a honeymoon theme!
(need to find the badges, take picture and post it here)
To the best of my recollection, our first ride in Disney World is the iconic Space Mountain β°
Really kudos to Disney ... Space Mountains doesn't have extreme manoeuvers such as 360, however, it is undeniably very thrilling!
As we went there around November which happened to the off-season in theUSA (or maybe the world), we managed to ride Space Mountains twice, or, actually three times!
Our 1st lunch buffet in Disney World
Β°oΒ°
Out of four and a half days of our Disney World journey, my wife booked three buffets.
Yes, THREE buffets! Yet, looking back, we didn't really regret (well, slightly!) the decisions as there are other restaurants in Florida that we are interested to try. On top of that, I recall that we were skipping dinners. And, on top of that, though we mentioned that November is supposed to be an offseason in the USA, it was still very hard to get a picture with the classic characters, such Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Woody & Jessie, Buzz Lightyear and many others (keep scrolling to see the blurry photos).
It took us almost 90 minutes just to get a picture with Woody and Jessie.
The biggest parade in Magic Kingdom!
It does look magical, day or night!
(same goes for my wife π)

A bit of shopping on the arcade.
The arcade at night π
The park closed at 6:00 PM, then we head off to Chef Mickey's for dinner which is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort, less than 10 minutes walk from the Magic Kingdom theme park.
Dishes that can only be found in Disney World!
The next day, we visited Disney's Hollywood Studios π₯
We had the privilege of early entry as we had a breakfast buffet booking.
Honestly, not too sure who is the characters are.
Yet, given that we already paid for the breakfast ... might as well take pictures with the characters.
Prams parking outside of the breakfast buffet place.
No, you're not looking at a giant golf ball!
You are looking at the Spaceship Earth!
This may look like another plate of chips ...
But, these chips, is not just like any other chips!
This is chips with Shredded Duck with Duck PΓ’tΓ© and a tasty Cheese Sauce!
This is the most delicious ever in the whole Disney World!
Don't believe this?
Keep sliding and see the expression of my wife!
π
Do you believe it now?
π
Epcot is an interesting park as it offers rides based on famous or unique places around the world. It appears that they are trying to promote unity that we may have a better future. That being said, some of the rides such as Soarin' Around the World and Mission: SPACE are very cool! Disney managed to trigger all of the sensors in your body in a such a small space. Soarin' Around the World really makes you feel that you are soaring around the world! It was so fun that we ride it twice!
Same goes to Mission: SPACE. They offer two levels to you. Being young and foolish, we took the advanced level. My wife and I were very dizzy after the ride. Disney somehow managed to make us experience the G-Force, strapping us into the chairs. We took a break to recover after that ride.
It was raining while we were at Epcot. That being said, we stayed until the fireworks finished.
Fireworks-wise, you can't beat Magic Kingdom.
That being said, we enjoy our time at Epcot.
Katz's Delicatessen
Been serving legendary sandwich since 1855
The famous Halal Guys!
Skyline of New York during daylight
Last but not least, I accidentally left my camera on one of the stores inside the Disney Kingdom, thanking God that these two ladies secure my beloved EOS R for me!
Sadly, my wife and I missed one of the most amazing fireworks on earth because of this π’
Thanks, Emma and Madi! π
